The DuBose kitchen specializes in southern comfort food and home-style desserts. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served in our spacious dining room, which can accommodate up to 144 diners at one time. Our kitchen is equipped to serve as many as 300 guests for a single meal service (although we must pitch a tent outside to seat them all)!
Our staff is happy to help you plan meal options to suit your event and pricing needs. We can provide vegetarian options upon request and can honor most dietary restrictions if notified in advance. Snacks, hor d'oeuvres, and finger food can also be prepared for meetings and receptions.
Groups of 12 or more can schedule their own meal service; Groups of 25 or more can request a custom menu. Groups with less than 12 people can tag on to existing group’s meal service in order to meet the meal minimum.
In 2016 DuBose started what we affectionately refer to as the "DuBose Garden". With the help of a grant from St. George's Episcopal Church in Nashville, a vision came to life: Out behind the art barn, under the bright blue Monteagle sky, is a patch of ground that's been tilled, sowed, planted, and cared for.
The Garden gives us a variety of produce that we're able to incorporate into our food offerings. Excess produce is routinely donated to community service organizations, and the Garden itself provides an incredible learning environment for anyone interested in sustainability, vegetable and herb gardening, or farm-to-table practices.
Mention a garden tour in the Plan Your Event page, and we'll set something up for your group! Groups can also arrange to work in the garden as a volunteer service opportunity.
